Information we collect

We collect the information needed to provide a private, personalized recovery experience.

Account information

Your name, email address, and user ID so we can create your account, verify your email, and keep you signed in.

Recovery information

Your selected focus, goals, urge check-ins, triggers, notes, and progress information that you choose to record.

Product activity

Information about how you use features, such as check-ins, coaching sessions, reminders, and insights, to improve the experience.

Subscription information

Purchase and subscription status from our payment and subscription providers. We do not receive or store your full card number.

How we use information

We use your information to provide and protect ReesetMe, including to:

  • Personalize coaching, prompts, progress tracking, and pattern summaries around your chosen focus.
  • Authenticate accounts, verify email addresses, manage subscriptions, and provide customer support.
  • Understand product performance, prevent abuse, and improve reliability and safety.
  • Send transactional messages, such as verification emails, security alerts, and subscription updates.
Our approach

ReesetMe is not a medical service, crisis service, or substitute for professional care. Coaching is designed for self-reflection and behavior change, not diagnosis or treatment.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your personal information. We may use carefully selected providers to operate ReesetMe, such as:

Cloud infrastructure and database hostingTo securely run the app and store account data.
AI coaching servicesTo generate coaching responses when you use the coach. We limit the context sent and do not use your private notes for advertising.
Payments and subscriptionsTo process subscriptions and confirm access. Payment details are handled by the relevant payment provider.
Email deliveryTo send account verification and important service messages.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer. Providers are expected to protect information and use it only for the services they provide to us.

Your choices and rights

You can control your experience in the app and may contact us to:

  • Access, correct, or update account information.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal information, subject to legal or security requirements.
  • Change privacy and sensitive-context settings where those controls are available.
  • Unsubscribe from non-essential communications. Transactional and security messages may still be sent when necessary.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. We will verify requests before completing them to protect your account.

Security, retention, and children

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please choose a strong password and keep access to your email secure.

We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements. We do not knowingly design ReesetMe for children under 13.

We may update this policy as ReesetMe changes. If an update materially affects your rights, we will provide an appropriate notice in the app or by email.
